Riots, Life and Society.
So I'm sure you are all aware of the recent riots that have taken place over the past few weeks, well here is what I think on them and also on society and life within our liberal democratic country. So we'll start with the lugubrious riots now if you haven't heard by now then you should probably watch the news or read a little more but anyway, several gangs of both youths and middle-aged people of many different ethnicities, who rampaged through Britain with several goals; to ransack shops and stores, to rage against the political system, and the police over a recent death.
The chaotic freedom we enjoy in our society causes such a headache within us all but is what allows both our freedom and our loonacy, but is indefinitely better than the ridgity of tirany and control. The system I deeply believed in is irrefutably damaged if a certain individiual can harm estates, people and police alike and then be imprisoned for a measley twenty-four hours or even get away with a supplementary fine. I think I'd prefer to live in a Religious Fundamentalist Society, whereby everyone would adhere to the rules or simply be punished. After all Religious fundamentilism is just another form of communism, a very extemist way of telling people how to look, how to act and how to behave. I don't think it matters which religious text it comes from, they all follow the same basic principles. A monothesistic deity has set these rules and so we must follow them (maybe we could loose the whole monotheistic deity thing and just be Evolutionists or Realists or just have some common sense and not be true and utter pillocks) or be sent to the epitome of evil itself.
Now obviously most of us feel different from mainstream society norms from time to time, and this is because there is a divide or a split in our personalities (psuedoscience) I personally belive that each and every one of us at one time or another on one hand want to belong, we want to be enclosed in a community and to feel the followship or comradery of being connected to other people and their knowledge, experiances and beliefs. Whilst on the other hand wanting to be completely and utterly seperate from the community wanting to be alientated as an individual we want to be part of the group and apart from the group.
I belive this spilt in our physcey is what causes people to be creative and intelligent, to be segregated together to coin a rather interesting contraflow, to be absolutely unique, whilst absolutely belonging. The ability to understand other people and what it is to be part of something, and the ability to understand the status of alienism or being alienated. This is all I have to say on our society and the riots for now, I hope you have enjoyed this rather arduous journey in an extasy of words, and I hope you continue to look forward to my future blogs.

The Bard Is Dead: GLEE 3D?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?
The Bard Is Dead: GLEE 3D?! ARE YOU F*CK*NG KIDDING ME?: I want to go on record here saying I think Glee is the stupidest idea for a show EVER!
Well now saying that Glee "is the stupidest thing ever" is a bit ignorant, I think Glee in it's entirity is alright, if you think about Glee's "horrendous covers" whilst Glee may be desecrating classics they are teaching 'our' generation about the 'Goldie Oldies' about what Music was like not this noise that we have today.
Surely when our generation watch these "abominations" they enjoy the rythmic beats and loud, gerish singing naturally inquisiting an interest in the original artist / band. Some covers even you will have to admit are better than the originals far less than half I'll admit but others will say nay to this idea to covers or some even to the originals. This blog was very verbose on the language side but a jolly good piece all the same. I think the funniest Glee related thing I've ever heard was a girl I know came up to me and said "Ricki, have you heard Journey's covers of Glee - Don't Stop Believing it's really good!" I could not actually comprehend that someone could truely believe this ridiculous idea.
The Life of the Egocentric
So obviously as I'm sure you are aware by now this is my first (written) blog, and I don't really know the faux pas of the blogging world when it comes to 'First Blogs' but I'm sure the vast majority of such blogs contain an amount of content about the writer's themselves, and so if I am breaking any formal / informal faux pas within the blogging world then I would like to humbly apologise. The reason I don't talk about myself is that I don't really agree with this 'will' to slip into the mainstream norms of our society, also talking about myself makes me feel rather dubious and personally, I believe the life of the egocentric or the life of those who talk about themselves isn't a very interesting one, if my entire blog consisted of a vast facade of stories about my dis-interesting life it wouldn't be very entertaining for you the reader now would it?!
If you become an admirer of my work then I shall refer you directly to my profile page, where you can scrutinize my every interest and visit all of the relevant social networking sites, on which you can join my vast array of disciples; in a certain sense of the word. I shall begin to wrap up with something I deeply and truely believe, something personal almost, I personally believe as I previously stated the life of the egocentric is a dis-interesting one and thus if you spend your life focusing on yourself then you aren't going to learn much from the world around you, you aren't going to become 'world wise' as it were and are you're only going to decompensate in mind and grow impertinent and as a brilliant man once said "You can't truely know your own country, without visiting someone elses first".
If you norrow your mind you won't get far in life and you'll live a rather dull and lustless life but that's all on my rather pessimistic view on life and the society we live in. I do hope you continue to read my blogs some of them will at least have a tone of humour and light-heartedness and so I end with something sentimental I guess. I hope we have a firm relationship together, I shall be giving you my views on news stories, interesting events and the likes of such involving our society and cutlure etcetera; who knows along the way you may pick up a few things and we can learn something new and interesting together.
